After an 18-day jury trial in Placer County, San Francisco partner Emmett Seltzer obtained a unanimous defense verdict in a personal injury case. Plaintiff claimed that she suffered bilateral sensorineural hearing loss and made a demand for $30 million at trial. This was a tremendous win for the client after nearly 5 years of litigation. “It was so rewarding to see the relief on the face of our client after the verdict was read.
